This kind of community is created by business, government and not-for-profit leaders who can motivate people to work together to address complex business and community challenges.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Leadership Ottawa’s mission is to broaden the leadership skills and expertise of committed action-oriented individuals by connecting them with the knowledge, tools, experiences and networks they need to strengthen their communities and organizations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Leadership Ottawa Program is an opportunity for personal growth and a vehicle for creating a better society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Through a combination of experiential learning, community visits, readings, personal reflection and practical engagement over a 9 month period, participants learn what it means to exercise leadership. They come face to face with the reality of the complex social problems facing our region and our communities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our program involves intensive learning, and unlike traditional curriculum-based MBAs, is very much experiential.
